Hello!  This web site was developed to introduce my work, credentials, and treatment approaches in order to make it easier for you to determine if my services would be helpful for you.

I am a licensed psychologist and provide psychotherapy to individual adults, couples, and adolescents.  The majority of client issues that comes to my practice are adults seeking help for anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, including sexual dysfunctions.

In addition to achieving greater personal awareness and improvement, the following are clinical areas of my treatment service:
  • Abandonment issues
  • Acute trauma
  • Adjustment issues
  • Anxiety and panic attacks
  • Bipolar mood disorders
  • Chronic illnesses
  • Co-dependency
  • Depression
  • Dissociative disorders
  • Dream work
  • Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Gender issues
  • Grief and loss
  • Hearing impairment issues
  • Postpartum syndromes
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Supplement to psychiatrist services
  • Relationship difficulties
  • Sexual issues and dysfunctions, both male and female
including hypoactive sexual disorder, sexual desire discrepancy in couples,
sexual aversion, arousal disorder,  orgasmic disorder, dyspareunia, and erectile
        disorder
  • Support for working or stay-at-home mothers

The theoretical orientations which guide my practice are cognitive-behavioral therapy as a foundation, combined with contemporary psychoanalytic psychotherapy which includes relational and interpersonal therapy.  Through goal-oriented and in-depth psychotherapy, I am enabled to actively work with clients who are facilitators of their own changes.  The collaborative relationship between the therapist and client is a platform from which clients can safely explore and establish healthier relationship dynamics with others.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you would like further information or to get a sense of who I am.  I also can be a good referral source to match you with one of many colleagues, all of whom are excellent clinicians.
